The REWA Story
A producer organization created to turn women’s skills into livelihood.
REWA – A New Beginning, also known as Rural Entrepreneur Women Agency, is a producer organization of rural women promoted by ICSW-HP. It was formed in August 2013 to support rural women artisans who create traditional handmade products.
The organization gives women a platform to make, showcase and sell their work through local fairs, stalls, markets, exhibitions and direct enquiries. REWA helps craft move from homes to public platforms, creating income with dignity and confidence.
Behind every crochet product, woolen item, pine leaf craft, diya, dress or piece of jewellery is a woman using her hands to support her home and preserve a skill that deserves to be seen.
